Leah, the main character of my current WiP (and the first book in the Bliss Springs quartet) is the lone wedding planner in a town where couples flock to say "I do" because of the mystical properties of the eponymous local hot springs. To say that Leah is making bank is an understatement. Problem is, while Leah rocks at her job, she's not exactly a wedding kind of girl. Or so she claims.

Privately, Leah has dreamt of a wedding that is romantic and girlie and vintage. She'd love a bridal gown festooned with whimsical ruffles (aren't these ones to die for?) Except that Leah now avoids thinking of a big day of her own, mostly because when she does think of her someday wedding the groom always has the same face. A face Leah hasn't seen in years. Until now...

With Drew back in town (and engaged!), new business competition, and something sinister afoot in sleepy Bliss Springs, Leah finds that she has more than she bargained for on her plate. For now, though, let's just enjoy some ruffle wedding inspiration.

What do you think of the current wedding trend for all things ruffles?

Love the trend per se. Dramatic, romantic, sensual..At the end it has to be the bride's very personal decision :) xoxo
